Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Well folks,
The new year is full of promise. I have a few things on the plate for 2009, like I have captured the role of Rev Ike in up coming featured film "In the Midnight Hour", The Life Story of Wilson Pickett. Rev Ike was and is Master Teacher that was rejected by the era of that time because his teachings of prosperity and self manifestation was against the religious beliefs of the 50s and 60s.
His flamboyant style and huge following broke all the rules and the fact that he had a different Rose Royce for everyday of the week as well as thousands of people filling tin bath tubs with cash made him just that more a controversial figure.
also I am signed with the country label in Nashville, Tn. WMI. We will start production on my brand new CD in early March. Right after we get back from Berlin Germany. That's the Motown show at The Hotel Estrel produced by Bernhardt Kurtz. It will costar along with The Contours, The Miracles, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, and Mary Wilson and her Supreme s.
Should be a great show. How do I fit in the show? Well, Jackie Wilson of course.
